Mym Nutraceuticals Inc (OTCMKTS:MYMMF) To Build 1.5 Million Sq.Ft Medicinal Cannabis Greenhouse Facility In Quebec

Mym Nutraceuticals Inc (OTCMKTS:MYMMF)’s partially owned subsidiaries has purchased land of 329 acres in Quebec’s Weedon township for $660 million. The company is planning to build 1.5 million sq. ft. medicinal marijuana greenhouse facility at this place. The announcement was made by MYMMF recently.

MYMMF to use on-site material & cut down construction cost

The facility is currently under construction. Prior to the purchase, the land was used as an aggregate quarry and the company now plans to make use of this on-site aggregate to fulfill the building needs for the current development. One of the big advantages of using the on-site material is that it will cut down the construction cost for MYMMF. Secondly, by using the on-site material, the company can ensure lower environmental impact. It will add more value to the project application when the company will approach the authorities for LEED certification process.

According to the CEO of MYM, Rob Gietl,“ Finalizing the purchase of 329 acres for the Weedon project in the Eastern Township region of Quebec is a major milestone for MYM and our stated goal of becoming one of the world’s largest producers of medicinal cannabis.” He thanked Weedon’ Municipality, and Mr. Fernand Boisvert for co-operating with the company during a transaction. Gietl further stated that the company is very much proud to be associated with the bright future of Weedon.

According to reports, a multipurpose CannaCentre complex will be part of the greenhouse facility. It will include learning center, auditorium, museum, hotel, bookstore, restaurant, and cannabis center for innovation and research. The project will generate revenue as well as will be used as a meeting place by the company.
